Ozon ex-CEO Perekalsky to become CEO of Utkonos in mid-Jun
MOSCOW, May 27 (PRIME) -- Former CEO of Russian online store Ozon Danny Perekalsky will head online hypermarket Utkonos in mid-June, investment company Severgroup of tycoon Alexei Mordashov, who is an owner of Utkonos, said on Monday in a statement.
“As retail is becoming one of the key activities of companies of Severgroup, it’s important for us to strengthen the team with the best experts in this sphere. Danny Perekalsky is a well-known professional on the market of retail and online sales with huge and successful expertise of management and business transformation,” Mordashov said.
“In his new role, he will face a number of crucial tasks to develop Utkonos: he will have to do serious work on improvement of effectiveness and the level of service for the company’s clients.”
Utkonos current CEO Maxim Bakhtin will stay at Severgroup and will focus on synergy between assets of the company.
Established in 2000, Utkonos delivers foodstuff and other goods in Moscow and in Moscow Region.
